At Type Design Class, we are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences for our students. To ensure transparency and clarity, we have outlined our refund and cancellation policies for Workshops, Online Courses, and Digital Downloads in the details below. If you have any questions or need assistance with a refund request, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

No refunds as it is impossible to verify usage or progress
Courses
These courses encompass the Font Making Course, the True Italics Course, and all future Type Design-related courses produced by Type Design Class.
Refund Policy:
Full Refund:
Students are eligible for a full refund if a cancellation request is made within 7 days of purchase, provided that less than 20% of the course has been accessed.
No Refund:
No refunds will be issued if more than 20% of the course has been accessed or if the cancellation request is made more than 7 days after purchase.
Access Duration:
Students will have access to the Font Making Courses on Teachable for a minimum of 5 years or as long as the course remains relevant to the software used in the course.
Course Updates:
Type Design Class reserves the right to update course materials. Students will have access to any updates made to the course content.
Technical Requirements:
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have the necessary software and hardware to access the Font Making Course. Type Design Class is not responsible for technical difficulties related to the student’s equipment or software.
Workshops
A workshop typically encompasses a live event conducted online, featuring a teacher, and requires payment to gain access to the various workshop materials. Participants can enjoy a replay option that remains accessible for a duration of 30 days, allowing them to revisit the content at their convenience.
Refund Policy:
Full Refund:
Students are eligible for a full refund if a cancellation request is made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start date of the live online workshop.
Partial Refund:
A 50% refund will be granted if a cancellation request is made between 13 and 7 days prior to the start date.
No Refund:
No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests made less than 7 days before the start date of the workshop.
Cancellation by Type Design Class:
If Type Design Class cancels the workshop for any reason, students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another workshop of equal value.
Software and Technical Requirements:
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that their computer meets the necessary technical requirements for participating in the live online workshop. Type Design Class is not responsible for technical issues related to the student’s software, hardware, or internet connection. No refunds will be provided due to technical difficulties on the student’s end.
Playback Access:
Students will have access to the workshop playback for 30 days after the completion of the workshop.
Digital Downloads
A digital download and guidebook embodies various templates and essential guidebooks such as Grids & Layout, The Type Specimen Template.
Refund Policy:
Digital downloads and guidebook courses are non-refundable. Due to the nature of these products, it is impossible to verify whether the content has been accessed, used, or completed. As a result, all sales of digital downloads and guidebook courses are final.
